uBlocks

uBlocks (BlocklyCode) is an educational platform that makes programming accessible for young minds. Kids start by dragging colorful blocks, see real Python, JavaScript, or C++ code appear in real-time, then connect sensors, LEDs, and motors to bring their projects to life. An AI learning buddy lets children describe projects in plain English and generates blocks automatically, accelerating the learning journey from visual blocks to professional programming. Supports Desktop, Arduino, and ESP32.

The problem

Learning to code is intimidating for kids. Traditional text-based programming has a steep learning curve, and most block-based tools stay in the browser sandbox — they never connect to real hardware. The gap between dragging blocks and writing firmware for an Arduino or ESP32 is too wide for young learners to cross alone.

What we're building

uBlocks (BlocklyCode) is an AI-enabled visual programming platform designed for kids and beginners. Students start by dragging colorful blocks to build programs, then watch real Python, JavaScript, or C++ code appear in real-time. An AI learning buddy lets children describe what they want to build in plain English — 'Make an LED blink every second' — and generates the blocks automatically, explaining each step. The platform supports Desktop execution (Python & JavaScript), Arduino boards, and ESP32 microcontrollers, taking learners from visual blocks to real hardware projects.

Where it's at
